El programa rompe con los paradigmas tradicionales en la formación de abogados, acorde con la normativa vigente asume los retos actuales del nuevo derecho, con un aprendizaje basado en clínica legal: integrando la teoría y la práctica y siempre acorde con las necesidades del medio nacional e internbacional. Desde la implementación de un diseño curricular articulado en cuatro ejes de formación: humano social, jurídico, de investigación y práctica, todo ello con la intencionalidad de formar profesionales integrales con autonomía intelectual, capaces de construir conocimientos y asumir una ética y concepción del mundo que les permita comprender su entorno y cumplir con la función social de proteger los derechos individuales y colectivos.
